Himara International Music Festival was born as a musical project where each of us can experience his favorite music. In the first edition in 2022, a rich menu of traditional genres such as classical music, tango, jazz and chanson offered by outstanding musicians from Albania, Germany, France, Slovenia, Israel, Japan and Cuba was served in five magical evenings, in one intimate space between the old houses and the Church of All Saints in Himara-old town.
At the feet of the old castle, between the ancient stones and the Ceraunian Mountains, a natural stage was created as if to say „Music echo!“.
As musicians, 
as successors of Himarjotes 
and very aware of the cultural heritage of Himara, 
creating a music festival that welcomes artists from all over the world 
seemed to us not only a moral obligation 
but also a necessity to protect and cultivate 
what is priceless for us, good music!
