Sujari Britt
Sujari began her cello studies at age four, demonstrating an innate talent that initiated a distinguished international career as a soloist. She earned a Bachelor of Music from the Manhattan School of Music, a Master of Cello from the Sibelius Academy of Helsinki, and a Professional Diploma from the Royal Academy of Music in London. At age eight, she was invited by US President Barack Obama to perform at the White House with Alisa Weilerstein, establishing her reputation as a classical prodigy. She frequently collaborates with renowned artists like the New York Philharmonic, Joshua Bell, Midori, Gil Shaham, Kronos Quartet, and Sting.
Her performances span prestigious venues, including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Metropolitan Opera House, and the United Nations Headquarters. As a soloist, Sujari has performed across the US, Europe, and Asia with prominent ensembles such as the Chicago Symphony, Cincinnati Symphony, West Michigan Symphony, and the Romanian Youth Orchestra. She is a regular guest at major festivals, including the Castleton Festival, Helsinki’s Cellofest, the Beijing Super Cello Festival, and Canada’s Neopolitan Connection.
Furthermore, she has performed at the United Nations for World Humanitarian Day and “HeForShe” events. Her achievements are documented by major media outlets, including TIME, Strings Magazine, and NBC’s “100 History Makers in the Making.” She has also appeared on ABC, BBC Radio, and as a guest speaker for TEDx. Since 2021, she has co-founded the Accademia and Orchestra Filarmonica del Mediterraneo. Additionally, Sujari leads an innovative global initiative with Dynamic Object Language Labs and Professor Paul Robertson, exploring the creative intersection of music and Artificial Intelligence in live concert settings.
